What happened to World Kitchens?

Nothing new to report.....The World Kitchens "Vice President" still with the "deer in the headlights syndrome"....The parent company attempted to manufacture some product stateside, but many problems....and last word, that project abandoned.....

We fielded a few calls yesterday, worrying that JerkyNet/Taylor Country Farms was somehow involved with this World Kitchens problem ......quite to the contrary!

Taylor Country Farms, LLC/JerkyNet is/was to World Kitchens ONLY an online outlet store, in other words, we were a vendor for World Kitchens only. Taylor Country Farms, LLC. and its offering of products is completely separate and has nothing whatsoever to do with World Kitchens or their production and or marketing problems. All Taylor products are made fresh every week, right here in the good ole USA!

Apparantly in our effort to keep you informed, we have struck a nerve with the factory.....Todays news:

• Still no production.......
• They still don't know if they will ever be back in production
• JerkyNet, as well as any other online retailer are no longer listed on the World Kitchens website.
• This would look like the beginning of the end...........

Factory still shutdown, no production..........

Production remains shutdown, other than that tidbit, no news to report. The factory remains very tight lipped about the reasons behind this shutdown. Very troubling....

This leaves their customers wondering.....

• Are they out of business?
• Did they closeup shop?
• Did the USDA close them down?

These are only a few of the questions we are hearing daily, passing them on to the company, yet still no company guidance. It would seem, whatever the problem, if they really were planning on returning to the marketplace, they would be proactive in getting out in front of this with their PR dept.....yet, still nothing ....

Just got off the phone with the factory, no change, no production, no answers as to why the are not producing and if/when they will be back....for those of you who are "hanging on" to hope that the World Kitchens product will some day return, and keeping track, we are now in month number four.... no production.

We have been fielding many questions lately regarding the World Kitchens jerky and where it has gone........Other questions or comments that we are purposely shorting World Kitchens stock in order to launch the Taylor line..... So we thought it appropriate to publish something to hopefully answer most of the questions we are seeing:

NO! JerkyNet is a Taylor Country Farms, LLC. company. JerkyNet has always been the World Kitchens "online factory outlet". With our customer service and fast shipping, we have always been the "go to" online shop for World Kitchens.

World Kitchens factory production has been sparse at best since April 2010. We have been tryng to get some straight answers from the factory since then (as well as some inventory!). We have purchase orders on file with the factory dating back to April, some have partially filled, others remain unfilled. We have been given no word on why they are not producing, and are only able to get "promises" that they will be back in production soon. We have had many of these promises since May for resumed production. All of those "dates" have come and gone, still no production. This can be verified by looking for the World Kitchens product in any local store you may have found it in in the past, or any other online store that normally carries the line.

We ONLY brought back our line of jerky to fill a void left completely empty by the WK factory issues. The Taylor product is being **very well** received. The typical repsonse is usually something like: "Wow....that is a HUGE UPGRADE!"

Our position on this is simple. We didn't want to introduce a new line that some of you have never seen in pound packages! We wanted to give you a chance to "sample smaller" size packages, decide if this was a good fit for you, settle on what flavors you like, THEN return to buy on our quantity discount and combo discount program!

In fact, many are picking up on our "Resller program" and using our jerky products as a means to some ugly economic woes of late.......we are happy talk to *anyone* about how to become a reseller, be it flea markets, gun shows, distribution to stores, you may own a store yourself? Please don't be shy,

If/when World Kitchens gets back online, as long as we have call for it, yes, we will stock it!
