The term Natural Style Beef Jerky means sliced from whole muscle meat, not chopped and formed out of ground meat. The Taylor natural style jerky has always been
special, because Dave always insisted that rather than save a few bucks and screen the jerky, he wanted every piece hand hung. What this means is, you have a strip of cured jerky, that is skewered onto a stainless rod, and hung while smoking.
The hanging product always produces a more uniform smoke and flavor. The greases, if any are allowed to drip off, rather than pool on the laydown "screened version" which is the typical way this product is produced today.
